IT IS THE ART THAT IS THE REFLECTION OF THE SOUL
I believe that art reflects an image of our existence. My work is an attempt to examine this image. I seek to explore the subconscious as it exists in human behavior. Exploring our actions, words and deeds can reveal secret truths. These truths originate in the soul and mind, and can be discovered in our behavior in present day society. Recognizing what comes from the depth of our soul is essential to understanding our existence.

A BRIEF NARRATIVE OF MY CAREER
I have more than 15 years training in classical fine art. In 1997 I changed from oil painting to photography, computer generated and video stream, in order to converge different mediums into a new art form combining traditional and contemporary media.
In 2004 my first poetry book titled WHITE OVER OTHER SIDE OF BLACK was published, written in my first language. My poetry was published in a number of magazines including - Literature magazine ARTISTIKLIFE, Lviv, printed by BAT “Free Ukraine”, Ukraine, 20 5.

Based on poetry book WHITE OVER OTHER SIDE OF BLACK, in 2005 a theatrical production company was created in the Ukraine incorporating live performance, original, poetry, computer graphics and moving pictures. PROLOGUE OF LOVE. The theatrical performance was staged with actors from the National Theater at the M. Zankovetska theatre in Lviv and directed by Gregoriy Shumeyko who is an honoured Ukraine artist.
Among other accomplishments I received a Silver Award for a Non-commercial Digital Video, Graphic Exchange 2002, Digital Art Awards, Canada, 2002. and for a short video clip SAD WAY Best Multi-Media/Computer Generated Award for digital photography at The 2001 Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition, Canada.
"Juror's Award", for my painting SUBCONSCIOUS, oil on canvas, 70”x90”, 1996. Society of Canadian Artists Open Juried Exhibition, Canada, 1997.
"Finalist Award" Portrait Category The Artist's Magazine Annual Art Competition 1997 along with publications of these in artists magazines in the U.S.A.,
"Best Artist Award" for the 1994 painting MARATON, oil on canvas, 46”x36” 46”x64”, Toronto Indoor Art Show Organized by Artfocus Magazine CBC Broadcast Centre. Canada, 1996.
In 1993 with independent association MLUN in the Ukraine, a part of this novel MEDITATION ABOUT MEDITATION which is still in progress, was published in the Literature magazine FREE WRITERS, Lviv, printed by NBF “Ukrainian technology”, Ukraine.
